Nestled between hills and a jungle, T Stop is an eco-friendly coffee estate, where fireflies still dance at night like twinkling little stars at your hand’s reach and the breeze carries the songs of birds and gurgling gushes of the streams close by.

It has something to offer to everyone. Rest and peace to the weary, adventures to the brave, new experiences to the intrepid travelers, absolute abandon and joy to children and pets. It offers the beauty and diversity of the Western Ghats and each season is reflected by the different reflections the hills cast on the estate’s pond.
While many go for walks in and around the estate, some hike the forest trails, some find a corner to read and write, a fair few swim in the pond, most find the stillness within to enjoy being a part of this place.
T Stop is a pet friendly farmstay. We would be happy to welcome you, your family and share a slice of this wonderful place that we call home.

These falls are located in the Brahmagiri Range, bordering the Wayanad district of Kerala. It is a major tourist attraction as well as a pilgrimage spot. Also known as the Lakshmana Tirtha Falls, it derives its name from the tributary of Cauvery which starts from these falls. According to popular legend, Rama and Lakshmana, passed along the Bhramagiri range whilst searching for Sita. When Rama asked Lakshmana to fetch him drinking water, Lakshmana shot an arrow into the Brahmagiri hills and brought into being the Lakshmana Tirtha river. Due to this legend, the waterfall is believed to possess the power to cleanse sins and is visited by thousands of devotees on Shivaratri day. A famous Shiva temple, the Rameshwara Temple is situated on the banks of the Lakshmana Tirtha River, en route to the falls. A forest trail leads from these falls to the Brahmagiri Peak in Southern Kodagu. - Nagarhole National Park ~ 27 Km ~

The Kabini River winds through jungle landscapes, home to tigers, Asian elephants and more than 250 species of birds. The park derives its name from NAGA, meaning snake and HOLE, referring to streams. The park was an exclusive hunting reserve of the kings of the Wodeyar dynasty, the former rulers of the Kingdom of Mysore. It was set up in 1955 as a wildlife sanctuary and later it was upgraded into a national park in 1988. The park was declared a tiger reserve in 1999. - Glen Lorna Tea Estate ~ 9 Km ~
The Glenlorna Tea Estate with over 1200 acres, is now owned by the Tata Group. There is an old British Bungalow named after the founders and a tea processing factory which sends the tea to markets in Munnar. This is the only tea growing estate in the district and is a visual treat for anyone driving past this beautiful carpeted hill side, this is indeed a dramatic experience for any first time traveler to this region. - White water Rafting in the Barapole river ~ 8 Km ~
The Barapole river is known for white water river-rafting, where the rough meandering flow of the river rapids are graded between the level of 2 to 4 due to the scale of difficulty in navigating through the medium waves and large rocks, some of which have considerable drops. Professional rafting organizations conduct training & rafting trips in the Barapole river and also provide other adventure activities such as Zipline, etc. - Maha Mrityunjaya Temple, Badagakeri ~ 10 Km ~

While we invite you to our home, there are some home truths which we would want you to bear in mind while planning your stay with us.
Some home truths
We’re not a resort. What we mean when we say this is that we are trying to keep T Stop true to how we found it – the natural beauty of the place, the flora/fauna, contours, landscape, pathways, streams, etc – the core reasons we liked it in the first place! Even as we seek to open up our farm and make it comfortable for guests, we try and walk the tightrope between that and disturbing or changing as little as we can.
We’re amidst nature. This includes trees of various kinds, moths, birds, bees, frogs, spiders and insects of many hues all around, snakes out there in the estate and other animals in the jungle! These creatures own the space just like we do, and unless threatened, do not seek to harm us. We avoid city-style pest control and bug spraying. There are meshes and regular cleaning to keep your room clean and safe. However, quite like in the city and in traffic, there are sensible ‘rules’ to follow around the estates, farms and forests, and once you transcend the teeny fears that we all have, we will see that it’s a beautiful, connected world out there that’s alive and vibrant! We have all grown too used to extremely sterile places in the city, let’s reconnect with nature.
Question Needs. We do have some backup power, but sometimes the power outages in places like Theralu can last for days altogether. We do have a generator but we use this only if it’s critical. There are numerous lights, but it’s nicer to use just what’s needed. Sometimes it’s easier to catch the afternoon breeze through an open window, and not be worried about the lack of air conditioning or an odd moth flying in. We use firewood to heat up hot water for a bath - while we have plenty of firewood and water - do use only what you need. We have mobile connectivity only in certain parts of the estate and there is WiFi in the main home, it is not a 24x7 connected life in Theralu. Part of the beauty in places like T Stop is in the simplicity, and we request you to pause and check your assumptions about what’s necessary, what’s a must have, and what luxury actually could mean.
Come, experience the simple joys of life with us and you will discover that there is truth in the age old saying that, “there is more in less”!
